The floral chandelier

Flower walls are out and hanging flowers are in! A hanging chandelier of flowers is one of the most extravagant trends we’ve spotted this year. This statement arrangement can add drama to a country barn or industrial warehouse setting.

Beauty and the beast

Glass cloches and solitary red roses inspired by the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast were spotted at all the top wedding fairs this winter. The new release box office hit has inspired the inner princess of many brides, some opting for a gold ball gown á la Belle to replace the classic ivory dress. The modern-day fairy-tale can be realised with the clever use of flowers and table accessories.

Oversized bouquets

Big is beautiful! 2017 is the year to go oversized with your bridal bouquet and centrepieces. Brides are looking for bouquets that create as much as a visual impact as their wedding dress this year, so make a big statement if you want to turn heads this year.

Blue and white

This Mediterranean inspired colour scheme is popular with not just flowers, we are predicting cakes and sweet treats sharing the same theme in 2017. A perfect colour combination for a seaside wedding or if you are of Portuguese or Greek heritage.

Wild flowers

Traditional round balls of tightly bound blooms are being replaced with a more informal arrangement this summer. Boho-brides are opting for large, flowing, loose bouquets with more organic forms which are bigger in size and more dramatic. The continued popularity of the rustic gypsy-inspired wedding décor goes hand-in-hand this organic aesthetic and design.

Hot pink

Set to make your wedding bouquet really pop, add hot pink flowers among pastel hues. Hot pink is a popular colour with designers on the catwalk for SS17 and is a popular choice for modern brides.

Grey on grey

Grey is considered the new magnolia within home décor for the past few years, and this neural shade has become a staple in floral design as well. Grey pairs well with most colours and is often paired with coral and mauve tones. Seeded eucalyptus, succulents, olive branches and other grey-toned foliage are popular on Instagram feeds and Pinterest this year and is one of our favourite looks for 2017.
