Why did you pick your venue, and what makes it special to you?
We picked the venue because of the architecture and gardens! The room of the ceremony is incredible too!It's a real honour to have been chosen to capture your special day - thank you! We would love to know why you chose us - what is it about our work that you like?
You came highly recommended and we love your style.What is important in life to you?
Wow, that’s a huge question! Family and friends - and not taking things too seriously What is a typical Sunday/day off together like for you?
Probably going to the gym, antique hunting or Netflix and a takeawayHow did you meet each other?
We met each other at work - I used to sell software and Emily would pick up the pieces :)How about the proposal? Tell us everything! :-)
It was at our home on Christmas Day 2019 - complete (hopefully pleasant) surprise for Emily! Emily’s sister helped pick the ringWhy did you choose each other over anyone else?
Our mutual love of music, similar outlook on life, shared values, taste in food and cars…!!How do you think your partner makes you better?
Emily: made me more confident and sure of myself. Encouraged me out of my comfort zone!
Ross: keeps my feet on the ground and the missing piece of my life!What part of marriage do you think will be the most challenging?
That’s a tricky question! We’ve lived together for nearly 4 years but arranging the wedding has been hard work..What's the one thing you've never done but dream of being able to do one day?
Retiring early on a beach somewhere!
Travelling more of the world…What makes your partner unique?
On Emily: she’s very kind and caring, and not afraid to tell it like it is!
On Ross: he’s got many varied hobbies he’s passionate about which I admire! Relaxed outlook on life. If you could describe your partner in 5 words, what would they be?
Emily: brave, kind, supportive, caring, open
Ross: laid back, intelligent, thoughtful, motivating, funny
Tell us about your wedding plans so far - anything you would like to mention (including fears, what excites you, etc.)?
Looking forward to seeing friends and family again after a long time - they will definitely make the day memorable. What sort of music do you like, and who do you listen to on a regular basis?
We love all kinds of music…
Emily: Kanye, flight facilities, avenged sevenfold, Phil Collins
Ross: Baroness, kyuss/qotsa, Kanye, Dvorak, weezerIn terms of style, look and feel, how would you summarise your wedding day?
We have a vague 20’s feel (postmodern jukebox’ band, 20’s dresses, tweed etc). We’re not expecting our guests to dress to this style! Finally... why are you marrying each other?!? :-)
Ross: as mentioned, Emily is the part my life has missed!
