TEASERWhy did you pick your venue, and what makes it special to you?
we moved to the Cotswolds last year and fell in love with it and the beautiful scenery. Chipping Norton is where we bought our first home together so we wanted to get married here.It's a real honour to have been chosen to capture your special day - thank you! We would love to know why you chose us - what is it about our work that you like?
We really liked the meeting we had with you initially and your approach to the day and when we watched your videos we loved that you captured all the small moments and it was less formal, our wedding is a very relaxed vibe and your style fitted with ours!What is important in life to you?
Family, friends and adventures !What is a typical Sunday/day off together like for you?
Long walk to a cotswolds pub, exploring new places and new hills/mountains to climb !How did you meet each other?
Our mutual friend introduced us in London on a night out- now the old fashioned way of meeting !How about the proposal? Tell us everything! :-)
We went on our typical Sunday long walk exploring. Dimitri proposed with a ring made out of bicycle parts that he had made. He proposed at White Horse Hill and it was a complete surprise and one that was captured on camera. We usually take a timer photo at the top of any hill we climb and he set this up as normal and got down on one knee! It was a perfect sunny day followed by champagne and fish n chips !wedding ceremonyWhy did you choose each other over anyone else?
We have a laugh every single day, we support one another throughout everything and there is never a dull moment.How do you think your partner makes you better?
Dimitri calms me down and helps me to not take myself and life so seriously, he also pushes me to try everything and go outside of my comfort zone (i.e. Striding Edge in the Lake District). Charlotte is very supportive of everything and is a constant rock :-)What part of marriage do you think will be the most challenging?
When all the dull everyday gets in the way !What's the one thing you've never done but dream of being able to do one day?
Travel around the world hiking for a year living out of a backpacks!What makes your partner unique?
Dimitri is the funniest person I have ever met !!wedding breakfast speechesIf you could describe your partner in 5 words, what would they be?
Dimitri- funny, loving, focussed, adventurous and kind Charlotte- kind, loving, supportive, loyal and cleverTell us about your wedding plans so far - anything you would like to mention (including fears, what excites you, etc.)?
Church wedding followed by teepees in Moreton in Marsh, VW camper vans as the wedding cars (also our dream to own one one day), flowers are dusky pink and ecylyptus florals, live band with lots of dancing required (very excited about the partying), food is sharing boards throughout- lots of amazing choices and the main thing that excites us the most is for most of the people we love to all be together in one place !!!What sort of music do you like, and who do you listen to on a regular basis?
motown, fleetwood mac, garage, 80's tunesss, Kate Bush, Kings of Leon - a real mix of everything !In terms of style, look and feel, how would you summarise your wedding day?
relaxed, festival, fun, dreamy day !Finally... why are you marrying each other?!? :-)
